An improv full scale head sculpture made from WED clay. I produced this in a class taught by Jordu Schell. We sculpted for two days, and then cast a negative in plaster on the third. When the clay was scraped clean, we let it dry out as much as we could and then poured the Latex and popped it out a week later after the plaster had absorbed the moisture from it. On the last full day Jordu lectured on painting tequniques for the masks. He started and finished his own rad creature throughout the class as the example(http://schellstudio.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=225). It was an amazing experience and he is truly hilarious and crazy in all the right ways. A master of what he does. I took another class from him just on painting techniques afterwards. Probably going back soon
